The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is located in the Western part of the United States next to Arizona, New Mexico and Utah in the City of Colorado Springs. Colorado Springs is at 2,000 meters altitude at the base of the Rocky Mountains and has a population of 440,000 residents. The campus is located on a bluff with expansive views of the Rocky Mountains and is a 15 minute drive to downtown Colorado Springs.
There are four seasons: fall, winter, spring, and summer. There are more than 245 days with sunshine per year. Our average summer temperature is 26 degrees Celsius and our average winter temperature is 1 degree Celsius.
