Resources for Transitioning to the U.S.

We have created two handouts within our office to help you in your transition to the U.S. and UCCS. 

The first handout is a brochure that acts as a cultural guide to the US. It covers topics such as cultural customs, race & ethnicity, and mental health. It has clickable links to UCCS resources and outside resources where International Students across North America share their experiences.

The second handout details things you may experience when transitioning to life at UCCS. International Students have unique experiences and may experience different challenges compared to domestic students. This handout provides direct information about what you might find to be different or challenging at UCCS and resources ay the university designed to help you with these things.
